What is BetAhoy?

BetAhoy is a British online bookmaker with a casino attached, trading from betahoy.co.uk. The company behind it is BetAhoy Ltd, based in Uckfield, East Sussex; on the Gambling Commission's public register the name is written "Bet Ahoy Ltd", which is also why so many people search for "bet ahoy" as two words. Searches for "betahoy co uk", "betahoy ltd" or "betahoy." with a stray full stop all lead to the same operator: one company, one brand, one website.

It is a young brand. The register dates its current licences from December 2025, the sportsbook went live around the turn of 2025 into 2026, and the casino followed in 2026 under the same licence. The site runs on EveryMatrix, a platform provider that supplies betting software, the cashier and casino content to many operators. That explains why parts of the layout may look familiar if you have used other EveryMatrix bookmakers. It says nothing about ownership, which we untangle on the sister sites page.

What you get is one account and one balance in pounds sterling for sport, casino, live casino and virtual sports, with a tournaments section on top. None of this page is BetAhoy's own copy: we are an independent guide, not affiliated with BetAhoy Ltd, and we do not take bets.

Sports betting at BetAhoy

Horse racing and football carry the sportsbook. Racing covers UK and Irish meetings, with greyhounds alongside. The football menu goes well past the Premier League: League One, League Two, the EFL Cup and the National League all sit in the popular list, which is less common than it sounds for a new bookmaker. LaLiga, Ligue 1 and the other big European leagues are there too, and the NFL and NBA have their own entries.

Further down the A to Z come tennis, cricket, darts, boxing, basketball, baseball, American football, Aussie rules, cycling, table tennis, futsal, winter sports and even chess, plus an eSports section and virtual sports. An in-play view, a results page and a live calendar sit in the side menu, and prices are shown as fractions by default. A separate price boost tab collects enhanced prices, often on lower-league fixtures. A boost is still a price like any other, so compare it before you take it.

Best odds guaranteed

When BetAhoy launched, it advertised Best Odds Guaranteed on UK and Irish horse and greyhound racing for bets placed from 10am, with the extra payout capped at £100 per bet and ante-post and international races excluded. BOG means that if the starting price is bigger than the price you took, you are paid at the bigger one. Offers like this can be changed or withdrawn, so look for the BOG marker on the race card and read the promotion terms on the day rather than relying on our summary.

BetAhoy welcome offer: Bet £10 Get £10

The BetAhoy welcome offer is a simple sign up offer, searched for as "bet 10 get 10": place a £10 bet, get £10 in free bets. It is for new customers aged 18 and over, once per person, and it is sports only. Since January 2026, UK rules no longer allow one promotion to mix betting and casino rewards. This is how the offer worked when we checked the terms in October 2026; BetAhoy can change it, and its own terms always come before ours.

• Code first. Enter ALLABOARD10, explained in the next section, before your first bet.
• Qualifying bet. Your first bet of at least £10 from your cash balance, at odds of evens (2.0) or bigger, within seven days of registering.
• What does not count. Void bets and bets you cash out, in full or in part, do not qualify.
• The reward. Once the qualifying bet settles, win or lose, two £5 free bets are added.
• Free bet one. A £5 sports free bet at minimum odds of evens.
• Free bet two. A £5 accumulator free bet: at least four selections, each priced 2/5 (1.4) or bigger.
• Stake not returned. A winning free bet pays the winnings only, without the £5 stake.
• Expiry. The free bets carry an expiry date, seven days when we checked.

Two practical notes. The accumulator free bet is the harder one to use: four legs at 2/5 or longer is a real accumulator, and the chance of all four landing is lower than any single price suggests. And £10 is a modest offer next to the big household names, but the conditions are short and readable, which is not always true of larger headline numbers. If you would rather keep your account free of conditions, simply do not opt in.

BetAhoy bonus code and promo code

The BetAhoy bonus code for the welcome offer is ALLABOARD10. When we checked, it went in through the My Bonuses area of the account. The order matters: the promo code goes in before the first qualifying bet, not after. One public review we read described exactly that mistake, an offer not applied because no code had been entered, and BetAhoy's reply said the offer had been added manually. That was goodwill, not a rule, so do not count on it.

Outside the welcome offer, codes appear on some casino promotions, usually a weekly featured slot with its own short code and an opt-in. They change every week and expire, so we do not reprint them. If another site lists a BetAhoy bonus or promo code that is not on the operator's own promotions page, assume it is out of date.

One more distinction worth knowing: the welcome reward is paid as free bets, not bonus cash. A free bet cannot be withdrawn; only what it wins can, and only once it has settled.

BetAhoy withdrawal time depends on three things: the operator's own processing, whether your account is fully verified, and the payment method. At launch BetAhoy promoted same-day withdrawals, and several public reviews mention money arriving quickly; others describe waits. We do not print a minutes figure, because none is guaranteed and the payments page in your account is the only reference that counts.

Debit card is the standard route for UK customers, since credit cards have not been allowed for gambling in Great Britain since April 2020. A withdrawal normally goes back to the method you deposited with, and the cashier shows the methods and the minimum amount open to your account.
